Hey Beatrice, I am Marion from Canada. My ancestors are from Goa, India ,a once Portuguese colony but now belongs to India. We learned much from the Portuguese- Catholicity, food, culture, dancing, our names- Da Silva, Fernandes etc,We went to Kenya & visited Malindi a lot & M -your place ,Mombasa. Africa was too politically unsound so my dad brought us to Canada where we have lived for over 50 yrs, studied in universities, got good jobs as spoke perfect English, bought homes and are now young retirees! Canada has beautiful lakes, rivers, farming lands with apples, pears, grapes, corn(Ugali) and the Great Niagara Falls- so magnificent and lit up at night! Check Google & see it! Bye for now Marion
